This Pair of Loving Swans called “Hansa Puttuwa” in Sinhala, a traditional Sri Lankan motif, signifies the unity and prosperity.

This wood carving can be seen in the Ambekke Dewalaya in Kandy. This belongs to the 18th century, which is the era of King Wickramabahu-III and shows the pride of the Sri Lankan craftsmen.

This is a perfect replica of our present craftsmen and it is a result of three-four days of hard work.

It is believed that hanging such a carving in your home strengthens the bond between your family members, especially your spouse.
